When and how can I register for courses?
Students should register for courses at the beginning of every semester via BYS between the dates specified in the academic calendar. Please click here for the 2020-2021 fall semester course registration and add-drop periods. All students are assigned an academic advisor who checks which courses students register for and approves their schedule. Course registration is finalized after your advisor’s approval. The name of your advisor is provided on your BYS account. Please click here for the list of academic advisors.
When and how can I pay the tuition fee?
Tuition fees are to be paid during the period specified in the academic calendar. Payments can be made to Halkbank (internet branch, Halkbank Dialog, mobile banking, ATMs) using the student number. Please click here for account numbers of the faculties. You can use this link to make your payment.
How can I access my curriculum?

I’d like to register for upper-level courses. What are the requirements?
The number of courses you can register for in one term is provided on BYS (course registration page). Requirements for taking additional upper-level courses are as follows:
You can take one upper-level course if your grade point average (GPA) is between 2.00-2.99.
You can take two upper-level courses if your GPA is above 3.00.
You can take three upper-level courses if you are in your last year and can graduate at the end of the term.
Can I continue my double major/minor program?
You can continue your double major/minor program you were previously in at İstanbul Şehir University by following the same curriculum and under the same ECTS requirements. Students enrolled in double major programs in 2020-2021 have to complete 240 ECTS both in their major and double major programs.
