Marmara University Translation Club was founded as an A-Type Student Club on 4 January 2011 and is a member of Turkish Translation Students’ Association (TÜÇEB).

By developing various projects and organizing activities, MÜÇEV aims at improving students’ skills onversatile thinking, researching and analyzing, enabling them to contribute to the field of Translation Studies through practices, promoting this field, and sustaining communication between students and the related communities such as academics, translators, and translation companies in order to familiarize students with the translation world.
